The Neviges Cathedral of Our Lady "Mary, Queen of Peace" is considered one of the most important examples of modern church architecture; a masterpiece by Cologne architect Professor Gottfried Böhm. After 40 years, the Mariendom is now illuminated for the first time. The lighting concept was so convincing that the light sculpture will be part of the cityscape every evening in the future.
